AFL ROUND 21 GAME ON GAME REVIEW
Collingwood was a BIG +16.5 and $2.90 WINNER for us on Friday night in their win over Melbourne. It was a cracker of a game, possibly the game of the season and further enhanced AFL Grand Final credentials of Collingwood. Melbourne has lost a number of similar games in the back half of the season, there must be some doubt over their hunger.
GWS Giants were a BIG PROFIT result for us in Saturdays game. It was our HBM Human Behaviour Model working at its best, Essendon were on a big 5 game peak run and that made them vulnerable coupled with the strong likelihood of a big GWS bounce. The Giants duly delivered and that gave us another great profit. Good old Essendon keeps its enigma status well in check.
The Bulldogs continue at their inconsistent best and look in big danger of missing the finals, a big fall from grace having played in last years GF. Freo secured its first finals berth in 7 years in beating the Dogs.
We took St Kilda in a bet on the basis of a challenge to Geelong but the Saints were outplayed by the Cats, a clear AFL premiership fav. The Saints were very disappointing and in big danger of missing the 8, a real set back for them.
Richmond is by far the most exciting team in the AFL to watch…they are rip, shit or bust and Saturday night against Port. The Tigers should now secure an AFL finals berth whilst Port…well what a fall from grace from consecutive Prelim Finals to missing the finals altogether. Watch this space for changes.
North gave us the 5 unit return on the Kangaroos at +47.5 thanks to a late game goal run North has been a difficult betting proposition for us all season but we got the result Sunday.
Brisbane kept its top 4 credentials alive and at the same time put Carlton into a precarious position in retaining its finals spot after being there pretty well all season.
In the final game of Round 21, Josh Kennedy kicked an amazing 8 goals in his remarkable AFL career but the Crows (despite all the off field pressure at the club) were able to hang on in a gutsy win.
