It was back in trip and had the addition of the blinkers, was last out and straightened 7-8 lengths off the lead. REALLY let down strongly the last 150m charging home to just miss, wins in another stride. There was VERY strong support $14 into $9…this one a BLACK BOOKER!

Headphones was a BEST BET we rated $3.80 and got out to 20-1 and outstanding overlay value as a Best Bet. We know a number of subscribers took the each way IT was $4.40 when we sent the tips out and Headphones ran second. once again there was some STRONG late money for this horse $20-1 into $14…BLACK BOOKER

Adelaide Racing Tips BIG $41.40 QUINELLA result

In Headphones race we had two selections with My Khalifa who won the race with Headphones second. BIG Quinella result for those taking exotics with a $41.40 return for the $1 outlay. My Khalifa simply had the better turn of speed, and arguably Headphones hit the lead a bit early and was left a sitting shot, much better when he has a horse to chase……….

With the other Deep Value Roughie bets Master Chum tracked up behind them to the turn but was very one paced and was no good. Magistrate was ok had a 3 wide trailing position moved up straightening but probably outclassed and Reward with Return in that race no good but in worse going so you can’t totally can it.

Melbourne Racing Tips

At Flemington Pete Brinky put up in Starlight Scope as a Best Strong Bet in race 2. It just pipped at 13-1, did some work outside the lead then moved up boldly and hit the front a bit early (mainly because the leader was gone!!). Fought hard but wanted to lay in late and Zimowy finished to well for it but Starlight Scope is a BLACK BOOKER!

Doomben Brisbane Racing Tips $18 WINNER & BIG Trifecta result

At Doomben we put up Ocean Treaty in race 5 as a Best Bet (ran third) BUT for those exotic subscribers our third selection Couldn’t Refuse won the race at 20-1 as a saver bet. Better still for those exotic subscribers (and we know many of you are) the Trifecta pays $378 for 1 unit.

We found Best Bets winners with Maitao (sat off the pace here so has shown some ability to race more tractably after being gelded) at Randwick and Berkeley Square at Flemington.
