AFL Betting Tips - round 13 reviewAFL BETTING TIPS – A LOOK AT ROUND 13 AFL

Last weekend AFL Betting Tips was the second of three weeks of AFL Betting during the mid season bye period. Our Expert Betting Tips came home with GWS -11.5 and $1.55 win and Bulldogs 41.50 win. We missed on Hawthorn and Richmond. We are pleased to provide for your our review of AFL Betting Tips round 13.

Adelaide made it three wins in a row in the AFL Betting Tips and take an 8-5 record into the break. They are well placed to challenge for a top 4 position.

Richmond lost Cotchin and Edwards through the week and Soldo on game day. The Tigers were valiant and bought the heat early but could not sustain for the length of the game. Adelaide started to regain some composure and Richmond looked drastically undermanned down back as the big Adelaide forwards Jenkins and Walker started to get busy finishing with 13 scoring shots and 7 goals between them.

Adelaide lost 3 players in game (Murphy teeth, Talia groin/quad and Kelly calf) and the big scare was near the final siren where Jenkins went down after kicking 4 for the night. Both teams go into the bye round with Adelaide looking to top 4 and Richmond appear top 8 at best.

Hawthorn’s Ben Stratton had a massive brain fade, in the AFL Betting Tips Saturday night game. He applied the pinch “nippers” to Essendon’s Orazio Fantasia and leaving him heavily bruised in the process. It has cost him a trip straight to the tribunal, its simply not a good look. The Hawks are the best at “ubnsocialble” football but this takes it to a whole new level. Give him 2 weeks and tell him top stop being an idiot!!

Essendon got the job done and now are 6-6 and have two massive games against West Coast (Perth) and Giants (Marvel). It is more of the same for the Hawks who at 5-7 have a big job ahead to make the AFL final 8.

The close games continued in the AFL Betting Tips between the Suns and the Saints with the Saints winning their third game in a row versus them. They beat Gold Coast Suns with the total margins in those games of only 7 points!!

The Saints have travelled the countryside and the world. They were on the back of their trip to Shanghai, China and this time to Townsville. The Suns had the game in the bag with a 31 point lead in Q3, but yet again the young side allowed a quarter of bad footy to bury them.

The floodgates opened with 15 scores from their next 17 entries including 9 goals and that was the game right there. This gives the Saints some breathing space whilst for the Suns they now go into the bye with 8 losses in a row. For all their improvement this is just a horrible number.

Fremantle won their ninth final quarter for the season (AFL high) and in doing so created yet another come from behind win to keep their AFL Betting Tips 2019 season alive and well.

Port Adelaide back off their mid season break after the Shanghai match went every inch of the way with the Dockers but capitulated in the final term. The ruck ascendancy with Ryder and Lycett who were heralded as the “Dream team” ruck combo in the AFL were dominated by a 21 year old playing only his 18th game.

Walters from the Dockers has really come of age for the third game in a row winning it off his own boot with 6 Goals (career high) after kicking the winning score in the previous 2 matches.

Ross Lyon has his side humming and they kicked 100 points again (3rd time this year). Port Adelaide on the other hand have had some mediocre efforts and their season is poised on the brink at 6-6. They do play 7 of their last 10 games at home so it gives them some hope going forward. They do get Dixon, Wines and Ebert back to steady the ship.

Saturday nights stand alone AFL Betting Tips game saw 7 Goals to Carlton’s Charlie Curnow in a brilliant solo performance. But it was not enough to steer his side home against the Bulldogs as Carlton piled on the last 5 goals of the game to fall three points short.

The Bulldogs gave up two big leads in the game and they looked to be cruising to victory with a 34 point lead in the 2ndterm before the Blues got rolling they kicked 7 of the next 8 goals and all of a sudden the Dogs were now down by 7 points heading toward 3 quarter time.

It was a match of roller coaster type swings as the Western Bulldogs steadied and reasserted themselves to the 34 point margin in the final term. Carlton came but the Bulldogs were able to hang on.

It was the Bulldogs fifth win of the year but is not one that would fill you with confidence. Carlton are a much different unit under Teague and they do seem to have a level of self belief that Bolton was not able to generate. Carlton’s next move on the Coach and the reshaping of their whole club is something they must get right or they will be confined to another 20 years of rubbish.

It was a winning result for subscribers in the AFL Betting Tips Sunday clash with GWS home on a -11.5 line and $1.55 win off the Adelaide loss last week.

The Kangaroos were on a three game peak performance run so it was a nice Human Behaviour Model play for us as the three game peak team comes up against the bounce team off the loss.

The Kangaroos were certainly competitive but they tasted their first defeat under Rhyce Shaw and it is 2 losses from 2 in Tassie for them this year. It normally is a “home away from home” for North with a prior 10-3 win rate in the last 4 years.

The Giants are well positioned for an assault on the second half of he year and the week off will enable them to get cherry ripe after back to back bruising encounters. The Kangaroos simply lacked the class to go with the Giants midfield and they have a lot to ponder in the week off with Collingwood to front up to in their next game!!

West Coast v Essendon
Sydney v Hawthorn
Melbourne v Fremantle
St Kilda v Brisbane
Port Adelaide v Geelong
Bulldogs v Collingwood
