Sydney Racing tips All Aged Stakes
The Sydney Racing tips TJ Smith Stakes held on Saturday Sydney Racing Day 1 of “The Championships” at Randwick racecourse in recent times has absolutely been the key lead in race to get a line on the form.
Bentley Biscuit and Shameekha were able to do the double whilst the likes of Hot Danish and Hay List have come off good runs in the TJ Smith to go on and win. The other race to have an awareness around is those horses who may attack this race from the Doncaster Handicap. The likes of Sunline and Private Steer were able to win dropping back in trip, but this has been less common. It certainly seems more of an advantage on the horses from the WFA 1200m then than handicap horses coming back from the 1600m.
The 1400m start at Randwick racecourse is a chute start and you get a nice 400m run to only a slight turn so all runners really get their chance here.
The Sydney Racing tips All Aged Stakes has had15 favourites saluting in the last 35 years. Osborne Bulls is favourite for the feature this year which brings to an end the Sydney Racing tips Autumn Carnival 2019.

Sydney Racing tips Champagne Stakes
The Sydney racing tips Champagne Stakes is the third and final leg of the 2 year old Triple Crown. he race is preceded in the Triple Crown Series by the Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m) and the Group 1 Sires Produce (1400m).
Because of the structure of the triple crown series, eight of the last ten winners have made their way into this race through the Sires Produce Stakes so it is the obvious guide. Three horses in the last 10 years have completed the Sires/Champagne double (Pierro,Helmet,Guelph). Microphone was the winner of the Sires this year.
2 year olds going into 3 year old racing season
Historically this race is also well worth taking note of from a three year old season perspective. More often than not the 2 year old stretching out to the 1600m become one of two things, They either show signs of being stayers shaping them as possible Derby competitors in their 3 year old year. Or, they show signs of not being able to stay meaning they will be kept to the sprint and Guineas type races. So it is most certainly is worth doing the extra work on this event post race in the hope of getting a jump on the rest from a 3YO perspective.
Favourites running at over 60%
The other interesting point to this event is it has been a relatively solid race for favourites with 22 winning the last 35 Champagne Stakes this can be put down to the fact that there are generally not a lot of X factors produced here, they have generally all competed against each other at the run before (Sires) so it makes for just about as pure form as you can get!
