The Golden Slipper market took a completely different complexion from the weekend. 2 year CAMPIONE D’ITALIA WON at $50, NOW $13 for the Slipper. The second horse CENTRAL EUROPE also Waller on debut beaten a head NOW $9 favourite for the Golden Slipper. This one is a BLACKBOOKER. Spicy Miss was a winner NOW $15 for the Slipper, did some early work but then easy time. Liked both SCREEN ICON AND LUMBINI from a long way back both BLACK BOOKERS out of the race.
It is hard to take much out of these races when you have 5 to 6 of them go across the line together. The Golden Slipper is wide open this year but do like Hayes horse HARD KICK if runs, is $18 in the Futures Market.
