The Tancred Stakes is the only 2400m WFA Group 1 race in Australia and is a major race of the Sydney Racing tips Autumn Carnival. Its name is officially the H.E. Tancred Stakes but may be more familiar to the racing public as the The BMW who were sponsors for many years. Avilius heads the market for this year’s race with Godolphin looking to back him up before going for a spell.
Tulloch Stakes, Emancipation Stakes, Vinery Stud Stakes
The Tulloch Stakes is named after one of the great champions to ever race in Australia is a Group 2 race for 3 year old colts and geldings run over 2000m as part of the Sydney Racing tips Autumn Carnival. The Emancipation Stakes is a Group 2 race for fillies and mares run over 1500m at Rosehill racecourse as part of the Sydney Racing tips Autumn Carnival.
The Vinery Stud Stakes is a Group 1 race for 3 year old fillies over 2000m and is held at Rosehill racecourse. The race starts in a chute so there is a lovely run to the first turn making barriers of little significance and is the key lead up race to the Group 1 Australian Oaks held during The Championships as part of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

Melbourne Racing tips Bendigo races
Melbourne Saturday Racing tips this week come from the Bendigo racecourse in regional Victoria with the feature race the Golden Mile with our expert Melbourne Racing tips analyst Pete Brinky.
The Golden Mile is one of two feature race days held at the picturesque country venue the other of course being the Jayco Bendigo Cup.
Golden Mile day is an event over the last 5 years that has risen to dominate the Victorian country calendar and with beautiful surroundings great food and wine it is quickly claiming its mark on the provincial racing landscape as a major event.
