Melbourne Racing tips – a new star is born
Melbourne Racing tips saw a beauty in our Saturday Racing tips Australian Guineas and Mystic Journey may be the new darling on the Australian racing scene (Winx excluded of course). She became only the fifth filly to win the Australian Guineas and Flemington racecourse and did it with ease. She dominated them and do not underestimate her going forward for the All Star Mile. They ran quicker time than the Blamey Stakes and aren’t the Apple Isle (that’s Tasmania!) excited as she became the first Tasmanian horse to win a Group 1 since Group one was introduced (1979). Other horses to follow apart from the winner out of this race are Ringerdingding, Extra Brut and Declarationoftheheart who were all ok and Adana which had zero luck and that is on the back of zero luck the run before as well, keep your eyes out for it as will ourMelbourne Racing tipsanalyst Pete Brinky.
Sydney Racing tips – can’t resist the Golden Slipper
At iTipsports reviewing Saturdays Sydney Racing tips, the run of the day was clearly Castelveccio. It had put together two ripping wins before getting a long way out of its ground and charging to the line against Microphone it looked like a horse wanting further and it will be interesting to see whether connections can resist the lure of the Golden Slipper or save the horses energy for the Sires Produce. The Golden Slipper Stakes is at Rosehill on Saturday March 23.
It would be the smart move as it looms very hard to beat there but that being said if they run in the Golden Slipper Castleveccio would likely be a solid chance in the worlds most famous and richest 2 year old race!
Sydney Racing tips – Winx and nearly very “Happy”
Doing the same thing gets the same results as a rule and you have to admire connections of Happy Clapper having run second to Winx four times they tried something new. They led on “Happy” and rolled hard a long way from home it made it a very exciting contest. The inevitable was always going to unfold but there was that fleeting moment toward the home turn when Happy Clapper was 6 lengths in front when you held your breathe wondering was this the day. It wasn’t and the mighty mare really hit home. How watching greatness can take your breathe away as she rolls to 32 straight wins!
Newmarket Handicap and Australian Cup this week
This weeks will see the two biggest races for the Melbourne Racing tips Autumn Carnival with major sprint the 1200m Newmarket Handicap and the 2000m the “Autumn Cox Plate” the Australian Cup.
