ROUND 1 AFL REVIEW 2022

We had lean recommendation games only in AFL Betting Tips 2022 Round 1. Our HBM Human Behaviour Model which assesses and analyses team performance and creates betting opportunities needs a week of data. So round 1 was “lean” or “no lean” games.
Winners and Losers Round 1
The BIG winners as we saw it were Geelong, Carlton, Melbourne, Collingwood and Sydney.
Geelong pulverised Essendon and this game was all over at half time with the Cats kicking a round high 138 points. Carlton and Collingwood had wins for their first time coaches Voss and McRae with Carlton finally beating Richmond in the season opener for the first time in 11 games. Collingwood’s was a nice win the most impressive thing their ability to score with 102 total points. The same goes for Carlton who scored 101 points. Melbourne was 4 goals down against the Bulldogs and then did the same to them as in last years Grand Final. Ten Melbourne goals to Bulldogs three half way through the second quarter and it was game over. Sydney scored 112 points in putting GWS away.
AFL The BIG LOSERS were Essendon, Bulldogs and Richmond
Essendon every year talk themselves up as final aspirants but they took last years shocking finals loss into round 1. If this is any indication to 2022 once again they will underperform. Bulldogs had a poor loss to Melbourne who has now a mental stranglehold over the Dogs. The Dogs can bounce back and need to do so immediately. The GF loss may loom over them but they have good players. Richmond allowed Carlton to score over 100 points and this has not happened for a long time. Time may have caught up with the Tigers and they will need to bounce hard to regain composure.
