AFL BETTING TIPS ROUND 23 – PREVIEW

What a fascinating final round for the AFL Betting Tips 2019 that is round 23. The end of the home and season is exactly as the AFL would want it. There are 11 teams still in the hunt for a shot at this years AFL Grand Final and all teams either in the top 8 or just out can changes positions depending on results. It all culminates with various different outcomes in terms of making the AFL Finals top 8, missing the top 8, double chance AFL Top 4 and importantly home or away AFL Final.

AFL Friday night Round 23 – Collingwood versus Essendon

The final AFL Betting Tips round 23 begins with a bang as two AFL finals qualified teams in Collingwood and Essendon go head to head in a Friday night classic at the MCG.

Collingwood looked like they had turned a corner last week. After a few weeks of just going they really hit their straps in Adelaide and if they can reproduce that in the coming weeks and get some players back they may just make a dent in the AFL Finals.

If Collingwood win they can finish as high as 4th if Richmond or West Coast lose but most likely finish 5th and host the Western Bulldogs/Port/Hawthorn/Adelaide at the MCG in week 1 of the AFL Finals.

Essendon after a wobbly fortnight that saw many calling for Worsfolds head put together a solid effort in a big peak performance in the West to take out the Dockers. If Essendon win they can finish as high as 6th (if Giants were upset by the Suns) but most likely they finish 8th and take on Collingwood again in week 1 of the AFL Finals.
