Blaazing Ben at again AGAIN BIG $27 WINNER
One bet in Sydney Racing Tips on Saturday turned the days betting into a profitable day. It was racing at Randwick for Chipping Norton Day and our each way Strong Value Bet on Hinged delivering big profits to subscribers at $27 each way. Hinged was a 1 unit each way Strong Value Bet, was $27 Friday afternoon when we sent the Sydney form sheet out and started $10. We went against hot fav Espiona as it seemed to us that the market was still hung up on her performance last spring. First up was solid but on the wet track we felt her brilliance could again be dented. Hinged chased home extremely hard in the Light Fingers and indicated she was nearing peak fitness and looked a HUGE price. She had a nice trailing run and was too good.

Sydney Racing Tips Verry Elleegant at her best
Verry Elleegant returned to her brilliant best to take back to back Chipping Norton Stakes. After looking a bit dour first up there was a concern that the Melbourne Cup had left her a bit flat as she also took a few runs to hit her straps last year. But this was a stunning display on Saturday and is well on track for the Queen Elizabeth later in the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

Futurity Stakes Review
Sierra Sue wins Futurity adding her second Caulfield Group 1 to her resume (Rupert Clark winner). The win gave her a free ticket to the All Star Mile, but to this stage the trainer is not convinced that will be the path. What we saw on Saturday and with the money up for grabs surely once the dust settles she will go on to the big race with a live chance!
Blue Diamond Review
$21 pop Daumier was the winner of the Blue Diamond. It was a masterful training effort putting the Blinkers on for the “Grand Final” and the horse had a terrific run in transit and a great ride. However there is no doubt suited by the track bias of the day. Very hard to make ground from back and wide but that’s what both Jacquinot and Revolutionary Miss were able to do and they were the runs of the race.

Oakleigh Plate Review
Marabi a PETE BRINKY STRONG BET winner Oakleigh Plate became only the 2nd horse in almost 140 years to win the Oakleigh plate as an undefeated horse (only other one was Harpagus 1982). She put the writing on the wall the win before at the Valley and she put them away in fine style on Saturday. As a result tightened into $7.50 second pick for the Newmarket Handicap as part of the Melbourne Autumn Racing Carnival in a fortnights time.
