Last weeks Late Mail Saturday morning form sheet delivered some great results for subscribers from our analysts Pete Brinky and Ben Perkins with 5 winners for the day.
For sometime now we have been singing the praises of our Sydney and Brisbane man who goes by his self titled name “Blaazing” Ben Perkins. We like to call him Mr Longshot for his continual ability to find a roughie. Roughie he found last week on his Sydney form sheet with Moral Victory winning the third race at $34 win and $5.80 place.
Other winners were one of ours Lucques $5.10, another one of our favorites We’ve Got This running third paying $3.10. Pete also came up with a beauty with Palentino $8.30 beating Black Heart Bart and we got the Melbourne quaddie numbers paying $1800. On the form sheet other winners were Bon Aurum $5.80 and Don’t Doubt Mamma $5.40.
We also had as Late Mail winners from Ben Antonio Guiseppe $1.90, Astern $2.80 and the Astern/Omei Sword quinella $7.00
Last Saturday early Late Mail Dam Ready didn’t deliver but ran a nice 5th two lengths off winner. Looked a little uncomfortable down the straight and pay to follow on a turning track.
Spring Stable Stars –
Tarzino raced handier than expected and down on the fence where the going was off. Faded but happy to forgive the run.
Palentino looked impressive putting the favourite and stablemate Black Heart Bart away. Looks to be back to form of last Spring and Autumn. Pay to follow.
Sofia Rose looks to be struggling to recapture ATC Oaks form at WFA level but not dismissing yet, as will improve when gets out to longer journey.
