Melbourne and Sydney Racing review - Australian Racing Tips

Melbourne and Sydney Racing review

It was a brilliant day of Saturday Racing tips last Saturday at Flemington and Randwick with our expert Melbourne Racing tips at Flemington with the Newmarket Handicap and “Autumn Cox Plate” Australian Cup and expert Sydney Racing tips at Royal Randwick with the Randwick Guineas as we review a super weekend of Racing as the attention now swings toward the Sydney Racing tips Autumn Carnival.

Melbourne Racing tips – Oh Kah you have come so Far

Jamie Kah’s move to Melbourne paid dividends in the biggest way on Saturday when she piloted Harlem home to Group 1 glory in the Melbourne Racing tips Group 1 Australian Cup. Harlem went around at big odds again (did the same last year and won it then as well) and Kah came with a well timed run to nab it right on the peg. Well done Jamie well deserved.

Without doubt the big flop of the race was Avilius, it had a charmed run and Corey Brown got the split at the right time but the horse just did nothing and was very disappointing. It reportedly had some eye complaint but all in all just did not deliver. James Cummings will be going over him with a fine tooth comb in the next few days to determine next path ahead which may be the paddock and missing the Sydney Racing tips Autumn Carnival. The winner Harlem will no doubt head to Sydney Racing for the Ranvet Stakes.

Melbourne Racing tips – 3 year old AGAIN in the Newmarket

Our expert Melbourne Racing tips analyst Pete Brinky was right on the money with tipping the winner and runner up in the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap at Flemington last Saturday.

Sunlight was simply brilliant and too strong winning the Melbourne Racing tips Newmarket Handicap last Saturday. It’s not easy to win the way she did, doing all the bullocking work but she wow was she impressive. It was another good news story for the jockey too with the South African Barend Vorster (formerly rode in Singapore) chalking up his maiden Australian Group 1 after recently joining the Tony McEvoy team.

Sunlight will no doubt be targeting the Sydney Racing tips TJ Smith Stakes at Randwick as part of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival on April 6 but may have one more run in Melbourne before going there.

Osborne Bulls got too far back bu was a super run finishing second and giving us the quinella and Graf was surprisingly on pace outside the winner but is better suited with cover off speed.

Sydney Racing tips  Yes Yes Yes bound for Golden Slipper Stakes Success

YES YES YES was the most impressive out of the two Sydney Racing tips feature 2 year old races on Saturday. Yes Yes Yes and Tenley won the colts and fillies division respectively although there wasn’t a lot separating them. However time wise Yes Yes Yes was the more impressive.

Yes Yes Yes sat last asked to improve at 600 three wide no cover then unrealed a nice sub 33 run home on rain affected track.Tenley was almost a carbon copy except she had cover when improving and wanted to lay in a touch over the final stages under pressure

Yes Yes Yes was super and looks nicely placed for the Sydney Racing tips Golden Slipper Stakes on Saturday 23 March. We really liked the run of Anaheed, its been a big drifter in the Golden Slipper tips and betting market but it ran really well and still boxed on gamely at the end. Keep an eye on it particularly if draws a gate.

Sydney Racing tips – The Autumn Sun gets it Done

We just watched the tape again of the win of Sydney Racing tips Randwick Guineas winner The Autumn Sun. if you haven’t seen the race go to YouTube and watch it, amazing.

You couldn’t believe that The Autumn Sun could win with 150m left to race. It was 30-40m off the leader Nakeeta Jane yet somehow he dug in like the champion he is and the times he ran are stunning!!! From the 400-200m he split 11.01 secs and ran his 200 split in 11.51, five lengths faster than the second horse Fundamentalist.

He showed that will to win that only very few horses have and maybe he’s been having a chat to Winx in Waller’s barn because what he showed Saturday simply had to be seen to be believed.

The other horse that stood out from the race was in the red and yellow colours Madison County the New Zealander pretty much followed the winner straightening two lengths off him and really found the line nicely but the winner will no doubt press on to the Rosehill Guineas and then the AJC Derby during the Sydney Racing tips The Championships fortnight.

Another two year old we liked from Melbourne Racing tips and Flemington was the runner up of the Sires Produce Dalasan which should have won bar from laying in most of the way up the straight but does look most promising and likely headed to the Sydney Racing tips Autumn Carnival.
