The Brisbane Racing Tips Magic Millions Carnival is held on the Gold Coast racecourse on the 9th and 16th January. The main meeting of Magic Millions day is the 16th January with the Magic Millions Classic for the 2 year old. Brisbane Racing Last Week  – $17 and $15 winners

Expert Brisbane Racing Tips comes from our man Blaazing Ben Perkins and he was on fire last Saturday with a big day at Eagle Farm. 5 winners for the day was a great result for subscribers including Queen of Wizardry winning race 4 at 15-1 (our rated price $7.50). We also had the winner of race 7 Apache Chase (rated $12) winning at 17-1.  Apache Chase was the top rated selection by Ben in race 7 and an excellent selection and value overlay.

Magic Millions Classic Gold Coast

The Magic Millions Classic will be the feature race of our Expert Brisbane Racing Tips on the 16th January meeting on the Gold Coast. It is a race for 2 year olds over 1200m and it is a set weights race worth $2 million. The race was first run in 1987 and was won by Snippets. There have been many exceptional 2 year olds who have won this event and it is one of the Big Three 2 year old races including the Blue Diamond Stakes and the Golden Slipper. Away Game was the winner of the 2020 Magic Millions Classic and an excellent field is assembled for the 2021 race and its 5-1 the field with She’s All Class as favourite.

The Magic Millions Classic can have a maximum of 16 runners and of the 28 races run it is 14/14 winners of boys and girls. However the girls have won 10 of the last 14 races. Another key stat is that 23 of 27 winners have won their last start and 8 of the last 10 winners have started favourite.

Magic Millions Guineas

The Magic Millions Guineas will be the second feature race of the Brisbane Racing Tips Gold Coast meeting on the 16th January. It is run over 1400m for 3 year olds and is worth $2 million in prize money. The race was established in 2001 and was won in 2020 by Alligator Blood (who was subsequently disqualified). The Vogue Rogue Plate is a key lead up race for the event and the 2018 and 2019 winners come through this race. Isotope is the favourite at 3-1
