Melbourne Racing with Pete “Strike Rate” Brinky 6 WINNERS
Another solid days Melbourne Racing Tips analyst Pete Brinky after the Group 1 Australian Guineas meeting. It was Group 1 racing at the Saturday Flemington meeting as we move to Super Saturday at Flemington this week. Super Saturday gives us the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap and the Australian Cup, both classic Melbourne Autumn Racing Carnival races. Hitotsu a BIG winner of the Guineas at $7.50
This was a nice result for subscribers with Pete Brinky having Hitotsu his top select in the Guineas and a 2 unit STRONG BET paying $7.50. That’s a 2 unit outlay for a 1 unit return and lovely profit result. The stable are a bit undecided at the moment but everything is in play after his stunning first up 1600m win. the All Star Mile is on the cards as is the opportunity to head to Sydney for The Champions including the Rosehill Guineas and the ATC Derby. One thing is for sure the horse could be a Spring Star (Cox Plate style) after its stunning forst up Australian Guineas win
Golden Slipper – is Million Dollar Millane bound for the big race
Millane, a 1.15 million purchase looked solid in winning on debut down the Flemington straight. The horse trained by Peter Moody was VERY professional and looked strong through the line. No doubt a HUGE jump in grade to head to the Sydney Racing Tips Golden Slipper (currently $34 in from $201). But the owners happy to dream and gut feel is this horse has some improvement and is Slipper Black booker.
Inspirational Girl wins way into All Star Mile
She had to win the Blamey to win her way into the All Star Mile and she did it in fine style after teriffic first up run. She had a great battle with Zaaki and the return bout in a coupe of weeks time will be something to watch…

Seven Veils and Sejardan put their hands up for Golden Slipper Glory
The two traditional races in the lead up to the Slipper were taken out in fine style with Seven Veils (Riesling $101 into $15) and Sejardan (Todman $11 into $7.50 and second fav). Both good runs and primed and ready, although Seven Veils ran quicker time but perhaps the finish of Sejarden was the more impressive aspect.
Nature Strip bubble burst by Eduardo in a “second up syndrome”
For the 4th successive time Nature Strip has been beaten 2nd up and 3 of those times behind Eduardo!! Eduardo set a nice tempo and had Nature Strip off the bit a long way from home. Shelby Sixty Six ran the race of its life almost causing the biggest of upsets flying home late. Let’s see how Nature Strip rebounds from here.
Race 6 Mallory was an Each Way Best Bet for us at $18 and ran well. Fought very well making nice late ground on the inferior part of the track paid $3.50 the place a nice result for us.
