AFL ROUND 4 BETTING PROFIT REPORT

nice profit results AFL Round 4 Betting

It has been a really nice start to the AFL 2022 betting season with a solid 37% profit from betting in round 4. We had 11 bets and 8 wins at a 73% strike rate and 7.5 unit outlay for 2.8 unit profit for the weekend.

Season to date position is as follows:
* 23% profit on turnover
* 3.9 unit profit

AFL Round 4 Weekend betting highlights:

* 3 from 3 winning Total Game Score bets √
* Richmond WIN $2.60 √
* 3 from 4 WIN bets (Essendon, St Kilda, Richmond) √

Geelong was a winning bet for us WIN $1.80 in a high quality game against a strong Brisbane outfit. Geelong has quite a remarkable home record. We also got the under total game score (166.5) bet in a 150 point game.

We nailed the total game score of under 168.5 points in the Port versus Melbourne game, total score was 104 points. Port is in a world of pain at 0-4, bottom of table and the only team in the AFL to not have won a game. Melbourne is top of table at 4-0.

Richmond was a great result for us WIN $2.60 and line +10.5 in a 99-61 win over the Bulldogs. Richmond at their best are still very dangerous even without Dusty. The Dogs look in pain and we are afraid that Grand Final loss may have done more harm than we thought. Much the same as the harm they handed Port in the Prelim Final loss.

St Kilda was a win bet $1.80 and comfortably handed out a hiding to Hawthorn. St Kilda kicked 100+ points on only two occasions in 2021 and they have already done this after 4 rounds this year. Their goal kicking power looks strong in a big positive for the Saints.

Essendon was a WIN bet and got home against Adelaide in a high scoring but low standard game. The Bombers missed the -14.5 line (which drifted to -8.5) against an Adelaide team that tries hard but is far from high quality. The Bombers have players missing and will likely improve from here.

Gold Coast kept their early season form alive with a strong 92-62 over previously unbeaten Carlton who came tumbling down on the Coast. We took the under 159.5 total points and collected in a 154 total points game. Carlton lost Captain Cripps early in the game and seem to lose all inspiration from thereon in.

In other games West Coast had their first season win over a disappointing Collingwood who as the spruik team like Carlton came tumbling down. Fremantle has had a great to the season at 3-1 and they easily accounted for GWS Giants 88-54. They kicked 6 goals to 1 in the second half of Q4 and looked strong. Sydney got the fright of their life against North and as a $1.06 fav fell in by 11 points.
