Gee Tee Tee was a 3 unit BEST BET in our Brisbane Saturday Racing Tips Best Bets Tips. Had the sweet run 1×1 tracked into it beautifully but was intractable the last 100 meters veering out and costing it the race. Verandes was the saver 1 unit and got home paying a juicy $8. The ride by Ditmann on Veranes was first class saved all the ground tracking the fence to the turn. Then had to make a key decision in the straight. He pulled the right reign going back to the fence and picking up the fav late to go on for strong win giving Blaazing Ben the best bet quinella. When you throw in his 4th tip Better than Groovy who ran third exactly as he described. He came with a string run down the middle of the track it finished into third for a $1466 trifecta.

Sydney Racing Tips – $5 Best Bet Winner

Blaazing Ben also found Hulk as a 3 unit Best Bet in Sydney Race 4. He correctly told us about the horse being luckless last few runs. It was a beautiful ride always kept in the clear and the allowed to unleash a devastating sprint to go on and win super. He’s got a lot better wins in store on that effort has Hulk and is a black booker.

Saturday Racing Tips – review

With all that said it certainly wasn’t all beer and skittles on Saturday, Ballarat was a tough meeting and Kembla Grange certainly threw up some left field results. Most Saturday Expert Racing Tips analysts will tell you last Saturday was one for the ages in terms of tough form review. Any further proof read the plethora of articles that demonstrates the challenges from last Saturdays Racing. There is no doubt that form lines become a little less important and possibly can be a bit misleading at these sort of “metro” meetings that are moved to the provincial area. There are a number of reasons for this:

– Jockeys don’t always ride at these tracks all the time so their understanding of the nuances of the circuit. They are (ie when to get going, when to hold up, can I race wide, do I need to ride for luck etc) are not quite up to their metropolitan understanding.

– You tend to have horses converging with different form lines, metro versus provincial and the delineation of distinguishing the strong form can become a little trickier. This is the case when there is no direct correlation weaving between all runners engaged from previous efforts.

– Some horses on “feature” country days have been their target so they have been specifically set for these races on this day. That can compare with other horses who have had at tough spring and are at the end of their tether. But connections can be keen for them to have one last run against “lesser” opposition before a spell. They do not realise that their horse even though a better horse has no energy left to produce its best.

So whilst we do the form diligently and to the best of our ability there is no doubt that you can make a case to conservative staking plan on these sort of days. Saturday Racing Tips this week return to City tracks with meetings at Moonee Valley, Rosehill, Doomben and Morphettville.
