The Sir Rupert Clarke is run at Caulfield Racecourse and is a Group 1 Open Handicap held over the Melbourne Racing Tips Spring Carnival. Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes – lead up races
The traditional lead in to this race is the Bobby Lewis run down the straight 6 at Flemington. The other of course is the Memsie Stakes over the 1400m that is a key indicator to winning chances.

Behemoth was the winner of this race in 2020 and once again is strong in betting at 6-1. Beau Rossa is the 5-1 fav with Probabeel the other in the market. I’m Thunderstruck is the bottom weight and another in single digit odds. It is hard to go past these four in looking for the winner.
George Main Stakes – RANDWICK
The George Main Stakes in many ways heralds the arrival of the Sydney Spring Racing Carnival. It will be the feature of our Sydney Racing Tips with our Expert Saturday Sydney Racing Tips analyst Blaazing Ben Perkins. A WFA race, it is run over 1600m and has $1 million in prize money.
The George Main Stakes day features a Group 1, 2 Group 2s and 2 Group 3s making it a brilliant day of Racing from Randwick racecourse. The feature race, the George Main is race 7 on the big 10 race card from Royal Randwick.
One big feature of the George Main is the winner is exempt from the Epsom Handicap. Favourites have a very strong record in this race, of course led by the champion mare Winx who won between 2016-18. Key lead up races are the Winx Stakes, the Chelmsford and the Tramway Stakes.

A small field of 9 runners will contest the George Main Stakes this year. The brilliant mare Verry Elleegant is 2-1 and a raging even money fav. Next in line on single digit odds are Think it Over 9-2, Kolding 8-1 and Cascadian 9-1. Waller has three runners, Waterhouse has 2 and James Cummings is also represented.

The final feature on the day is the Group 3 Kingston Town Stakes named after the mighty namesake Kingston Town. It is run over 2000m at set weights and penalties for 3YO and older horses.

Adelaide Racing Tips Balaklava yesterday
We are now covering Wednesday meetings and yesterday provided tips coverage for the Balakclava Cup in Adelaide. Some nice results with Value Victor with top selection winning partner winning the Cup $9 into $3.50 and we landed the quinella with Second Clip. Angaston finished second beaten a whisker in race 7 as a 10-1 each way bet that would have landed us a nice winning day.
