Blaaazing Ben Perkins was on fire and tipped Gytrash to beat Nature Strip on the weekend and now how the bookies still have Nature Strip $3.60 fav for the Sydney Racing Tips The Everest. This boggles the mind as we see it difficult how Nature Strip turns the tables on Gytrash $6. The Concorde winner sat off the pace and unleashed a great turn of foot and was throttled down on the line. It was a brilliant win by Gytrash, one wonders whether you let Nature Strip run. Waller has spent a long time re-educating Nature Strip to settle however his turn of speed was not there on Saturday. Maybe they need to work to his strengths and let him go at high speed and break their hearts and this is the only way he will turn the tables.
Melbourne Racing Tips – Bella Vella again
Pete Brinky with his Expert Melbourne Racing Tips tipped 7 winners in a stunning effort and he found Bella Vella to win the McEwen. Bella Vella is a Valley 1000m specialist but it was a stunning return to racing by the Group 1 winner. It was probably her most impressive 1000m Valley win, she had a nice trail then was 3 wide no cover at the 600m and turned 4 wide with Brooklyn Hustle on its tail. She dug deep and showed some nice bottom end for top line win. Bella Vella was upgraded to a Saturday Best Bets Racing Tips Each Way Best in a nice result for subscribers.
Melbourne Racing Feehan Stakes – Humidor gets Cox Plate start
The horse that ran mighty mare Winx to a head and then failed to get a start in the Cox Plate has secured a run with a stunning Feehan win. After missing the big one last year the horse was sent to W.A. to Lindsay Smith with limited success and Lindsay sacked him. Enter master trainer Chris Waller. He took on the 8 year old and from what we saw on Saturday has him racing in career best form! New Melbourne cup favourite Surprise Baby was a huge effort, took off a long way from home 4 wide no cover and just missed. Surprise Baby is well on target for an assault on the Melbourne Racing Tips Melbourne Cup this year.
Blaaaaazing Ben Perkins made Dame Gisselle a BEST BET and it was dominant. The margin wasn’t big and after racing 3 wide no cover the trip it was a great run. You can follow Dame Gisselle with huge confidence wherever she steps out next most likely the Tea Rose Stakes.
Follow Avilius from the Chelmsford Stakes and this was a huge run. Settled last and straightened 12 lengths off the lead and strung up a bit absolutely motored home being beaten a bit over a length. Not only was the ground made up impressive it was against the closer to speed bias of the day. Vanna Girl in the Tramway is the one to follow and another big run against the track bias of the day. Settled last and looked hopeless at the 300m but under hard riding worked through its gears and was finding the line in strong style.
