iTipsports Friday Forum…another one bites the dust!

Hi *|FNAME|*,

Friday 6th September 2013

So another AFL Coach bites the dust. This time John Worsfold, Eagles Coach joins Michael Voss, James Hird, Mark Neeld and Kevin Sheedy having all moved on or been moved on from coaching jobs this year. Not a role for the faint hearted but in our view these changes are all in the best interests of their respective clubs. What the Bombers do will be intriguing, do they take Thompson or go for the outsider like Mark Harvey…Sheedy…surely not, please! We are hearing Leigh Tudor to Brisbane…Tudor having come out of Geelong and Swans programmes and would fit the bill on the Ken Hinckley model. Leon Cameron takes Sheedys place…good luck Leon! The Eagles job will be interesting…home grown boy Sumich, current Assistant Scott Burns or a smokey Neil Craig? Craig was into this job up to his eyeballs before he took the Crows job. Then there is Melbourne and the return of Paul Roos to the AFL Coaching ranks. Whilst this story will unfold, the talk of Roos pay packet is a keen topic of discussion. We say who cares…sell half the club to him if he will Coach. You are talking about an absolute basket case of a club here. Roos is the man to fix the job, sponsors will be doing cartwheels to get on board…and if successful they may keep him longer than the 2-3 years reported. Players will stay, players will want to come to Melbourne and without him good luck retaining and recruiting. So that’s how we see the latest AFL Coaching ranks unfolding. Big games this weekend in the AFL with massive crowds expected at the MCG and the Professor has a great preview on all games and also 7 bets for the weekend. Get on board for the finals with The Professor for $49.99 for the month of $19.95 for the weekend. The Finals Monthly Package will also include a big preview and selections on a range of bets for the Brownlow. The last round of the NRL gets underway this weekend with the Rabbitohs and Roosters playing off in front of 50,000 at ANZ Stadium in what appears to continue to be a 4 horse race in this years NRL season.
