Champagne Stakes
Race 7 on the Randwick card is the Champagne Stakes for the 2 year olds over 1600 metres. It is a big ask on the young horses and is a pointer to what may come in the Spring Racing Carnival later in the year. We have two red hot favs here in N2 Militarize trained by Chris Waller and and the Snowden trained N1 Don Corleone.
Militarize bolted in in heavy going over 1400 here and the same jock sticks. Don Corleone has been spaced racing mostly which helps should run well. Then we are out to the next line of betting with the James Cummings pair N3 Amur and N4 Tom Kitten both about 11-1 in the market. We see the winner coming out of these four runners.All Aged Stakes
All Aged Stakes
Race 8 at Randwick is the All Aged Stakes over 1400 metres and always a great race with a class field. We have 6 horses in single figure odds and we see the return of top weight N1 Zaaki 6-1 making his Autumn 2023 debut and Annabel brings him here. N3 Private Eye after his luckless run in the TJ looks a nice chance along with when N5 Mazu 7.00 with a brave run when looked the winner last start.
The fav is N12 Giga Kick at 3-1 a little short on value but can certainly win the race. N11 is Jacquinot loves this distance and runs well and we have 15-1 chance Ho O Amazon is a chance.
