North Melbourne has been a disaster all year however the modelling keeps throwing them up as a betting proposition and so it was at +56.5 against Collingwood. And oh so close to a $15 WIN PAYDAY as North led most of the game but went down by 8 points! And on the back of their best recent effort OUT goes the Coach!
We liked Fremantle for the bounce largely on the back of the Saints PEAK effort last week and they just are not a back to back peak team. A nice win to Fremantle who now find themselves equal top of table on 48 points.
We were keen on Hawthorn and this 50/50 game against the Crows had a Hawks win all over it. And so it was as Hawthorn continue to impress in their rebuild, not jumping too fast but just enough to ensure early draft picks come their way. For the Crows it is hard to argue this year has been a kick up on last year!
Finally the Carlton Blues were a bet, off an average result last week and we looked for bounce against West Coast and got it. The Blues are finals destined and are an exciting side who can go deep into September this year.
We missed on Melbourne as they were beaten by Geelong at Geelong. The Dees look like they have hot competition on them this year. Gold Coast had a marvellous come from behind, after the siren goal win. Stuart Dew doing great things with this group. Brisbane got rolled by lowly Essendon and there is again question marks on the Lions that are unanswered.
