As per last few meetings, suggesting stay out of 2yr old event due to lack of exposed form!

Race 2
Pornichet was good at fist Aust start behind the smart Hucklebuck.  With natural improvement, looks obvious top pick.  At best Speediness would win this but not sure how well he is going.  Red Bomber looks promising, having won 6 of 10 starts.

Race 3
Nine Tales didn’t have much luck cup day when held up on fence.  Was well fancied that day and deserves another chance.  More Radiant improved with the blinkers last time out and drawn to get a good run here.  Dual Star was good in hot race down the straight last time and if can reproduce here would be amongst the chances.

Race 4
Massiyn looked the winner in Bendigo Cup before being run down.  Every chance last time out but looks to have the most upside of this lot.  Zanbagh improved a little last time and although not going that well, can’t dismiss.  Renew improved at third Aust run when down in class.  European stayer who should be suited out to the 3200m.

Race 5
Prince of Penzance is flying at the minute and looks obvious choice here.  Spillway was good fourth in Mackinnon and with repeat effort would be hard to beat.  Value looks to be Epingle.  Scratched last week for this and has plenty of staying ability.

Race 6
On paper, Rhythm To Spare looked disappointing in Emirates last week.  However thinking not suited by hard track.  Can improve here.  Tristrams Sun loves this track and although big rise in class, looks a good lightweight hope.  By The Grace improved last time when ridden more patiently.  Has good ability but also stepping up in class.

Race 7
Stratum Star was terrific last time when travelled wide and boxed on for good second.  Lord Aspen was good winner last Saturday by small margin.  Looks very promising and one of the top chances.  Rekindled Power had good form in Sydney before bolting in at Bendigo in a maiden.  Thinking been set for this.

Race 8
Generalife was good third to Hucklebuck last time and repeat effort would  make him the one to beat.  Fast N Rocking was fair at unsuitable 1400 last week and back to 1300 here should suit.
Nearest the Pin looks the value here after not having much luck down the straight Derby Day.

Race 9
Politeness has been racing in top Mares company this campaign and looks suited here with drop in class.  Rose of a choice and Belle De Coeur come out of same race cup day where both were good and not beaten far.  They look the dangers.
