Autumn Racing Carnival weekend wrap highlights
It was a terrific day for the first Group 1 of the Autumn Racing Carnival from Caulfield and Group 2 racing from Randwick. The CF Orr was the main race of our Melbourne Racing Tips whilst it was the return of Melbourne Cup winner Verry Elleegant in the Apollo Stakes at Randwick. We also had racing from Doomben and Morphettville.

The first Group 1 of the year winner was Tofane who confirmed its top line level over the Brisbane Winter Carnival. She will now head to the Futurity a big hope. Did have the race run to suit but still very nice win. Behemoth was a big disappointment out of the race sat outside the pace and lost ground badly. Lets wait and see how he pulls up could be some issues.
Blackbookers: Sinawaan (wide throughout fought well), I’m Thunderstruck and Inspirational Girl was noticed running home hard.
Probabeel was a Melbourne Racing Pete Brinky BEST BET winner race 9 Caulfield The champion mare returned in great style and in truth had no business winning that race at the 200m. The last section was simply scintillating and she will go to the Futurity Stakes and be VERY hard to beat. The All Star Mile seems here medium term Autumn Racing Carnival target.

Top selection Think it over was a 2 unit STRONG BET with Blaazing Ben Perkins at Rosehill. The winner Think it Over has unquestionably gone to a new level. A beautiful ride by Nash Rawiller saw him into a trailing position early off the hot tempo and he simply cruised up and put them away like a VERY nice horse. Verry Elleegant the champion mare was heavily backed and was noticed making some late ground but well beaten. Both of these horses on the Queen Elizabeth Stakes path with possibly the Chipping Norton their next run.

Race 2 Randwick Highlights 2 unit STRONG BET winner $5.50 was a nice find by Blaazing Ben Perkins early on the program. The winner of the Highway (always tough races) sat outside the pace and put them away in nice fashion
Race 4 Randwick Blaazing Ben had the longshot winner Invincible Kiss. Our form sheet went out Friday night at 21-1 was a 1 unit each way VALUE BET short comment Blaazing Ben is our “king of the roughies” and he delivered again here with Invincible Kiss, she had a nice run in transit and produced a nice turn of speed fresh for nice win at a good price!!

Blaazing Ben was in fine form in Queensland as well, landing 7 winners for the day INCLUDING HIS BEST BET PROFIT $3.80. It was a strong win, settled off pace took a while to get thru its gears but really nice last 150m
Adelaide Racing Tips – 4 winners
Our Adelaide Analyst Value Victor had 4 WINNERS for the day. They were Race 2 Call Me Shamus $4.50, Race 3 Samesyn $8, Race 4 BEST BET Yuri Royale $3.40 and Race 5 River Twain $3.60. The Best Bet Yuri Royale in particular was a huge effort. It chased a hot speed hard and moved up strongly to the turn. It was entitled to fold up the last 100m when challenged but fought hard.
