Race 1
As with most of the early 2yr old races, too many unknowns here to play.

Race 2
Cadillac Mountain is ready to salute here after 2 good runs this time in.  Was scratched Thursday for this and drawn to get good run. Longeron was also scratched Thursday for this and will be up on the pace.  If track suiting on pacers, looks a good chance. Rainbow Storm has had 4 runs in this time and is nearing peak.  Last campaign was terrific and if can get back to that form must be included.

Race 3
Spy Decoder looks the one to beat if doesn’t get a run in The Emirates.  Was narrowly beaten Tuesday and looks to have bit on these.  London Stripe was good winner at odds at Caulfield and then wasn’t disgraced in reasonable company at Mornington last time.  Alcohol comes over from Adelaide with fair form.  Is a winner here before and lot of respect for stable.

Race 4
Lord Aspen come over from Adelaide with 3 wins from 3 goes.  Looks promising and drawn to get nice run.  Hudson Eagle was good 5th in group company Derby Day and repeat of that would see him him in the finish.  Vuelta is first up here after a good first prep and wouldn’t surprise to see him perform well fresh.

Race 5
In one of the better races of the day over the 2500m, thinking Noble Protector is the way to go.
Was good at first Aust start when a well supported second.  Has a weight advantage over some of his rivals.  Prince of Penzance was good to us at double figure at The Valley last time and although up in weights, must be included.  Big Memory missed a run in the Cup and on previous run behind Signoff must also be included.

Race 6
Chautauqua looks the bet of the day here, although thinking drawn the wrong side of the track.  Looks to be the new superstar sprinter and loves the straight track.  Not convinced Lankan Rupee is back after last start win as there was a wall of horses go across the line together.  Value looks to be Terravista, out of the same race.

Race 7
Final group 1 of a Flemington Carnival looks to be an open affair with numerous chances.  Hooked was terrific last couple of starts and if track suiting on pace, is the one to beat.  Hucklebuck was good winner Derby Day and can step up to group 1 level here.  Bull Point hasn’t had much luck of late and this could be his race.  Desert Journey comes back to handicap conditions here and at odds is good value.

Race 8
Solicit was a good run last Saturday in Myer Classic when ridden off pace.  May have found secret to her.  Sauvito has been terrific all prep and if can stay the 2000m looks the obvious pick. Scratchy Bottom looks ideally suited by the distance after not having much luck last time out.

Race 9
This race looks perfect for Telepathic.  Second up here and undefeated at 2 second up attempts.
Got out over more ground last prep, but second up 1400 looks ideal.  Henwood, despite big weight looks suited and likes the track and distance.  Whilst Eclair Big Bang was scratched at barrier derby day and if on best behaviour would be a chance.  Probably prefer the latter over 1200 at this stage.
