6 BIG BEST BET SATURDAY WINNERS LAST WEEKEND
Taunting was our BEST OF THE BEST BET on the day and WINS was a big shortener!!!
There was HUGE money for this one on the day backed into $1.80 and the race was pretty much over when the gates opened bounced straight to the lead and never in any doubt from there-destroyed them with ease. Value Victor delivers our Pro Adelaide Racing Tips analyst.
Opal Ridge was our joint BEST OF THE BEST BET
It was a SUPER confident ride by James McDonald, REALLY liked the way he took up a forward position stalked the leaders and moved up under a hold, J mac sat for as long as he could and there was enough there when asked for an effort wanted to lay in a bit but too strong-was CRUNCHED in Kosciusko betting backed from $21 into $15…Sydney Pro Racing Tips analyst Blaazing Ben Perkins was our man here.
Mr Brightside was a BEST BET WINNER
Melbourne Racing Tips analyst Pete Brinky really like this one. What a win it was by Mr Brightside in the Feehan, that win earning him a “Golden Ticket” into the WS Cox Plate-he has tightened from $21 into $8 third fav for the WFA Championship. Its been quite a meteoric rise from Doncaster winner under handicap conditions to now becoming a serious WFA competitor…
Eduardo was a BEST BET
Blaazing Ben again, what a DOMINANT display it was from the 9 year old!! Jumped brilliantly then sat outside the tempo controlled and put them away in emphatic style!! Great ride by Nash Rawiller….currently second fav in The Everest behind the champ Nature Strip in what shapes to be an epic battle
other BEST BET WINNERS Castillian and Shalaman at The Valley with Melbourne Racing Tips and Pete Brinky to get us off to a great start.
Zaaki back with a bang!!
Pretty brave win by the 8 year old Zaaki in the Tramway. Trainer Neasham was almost going to scratch the horse with the Heavy track conditions, but the horse was able to be up on pace and too good. The real question out of this is how has the run affected his prep for next start. By all reports he is set to have his next run in the George Main stakes against Anamoe in what would be a stunning clash. But there was a bit of a lead from J-Mac who has ridden them both to their first up wins although happy with Zaakis first up win you got the feeling he was leaning to Anamoe who has more scope for improvement. Promises to be a cracker in a couple of weeks time.
Black Bookers to watch
There were not too many “hard luck” stories over the weekend, PROFONDO didn’t get through the real Heavy conditions and can be followed on drier ground. Possibly one to follow is ANDERMATT, had HUGE support against Eduardo in the market was disappointing but with the level of money that came it’s a pointer to a coming win. Did drift on the back of that from $26 to $51 for The Everest but may be worth following….
