Any three-year-olds contesting the Derby will come via major 3yo races like the the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas and Group 2 Tulloch Stakes held during the Rosehill carnival the previous couple of weeks. In recent times Criterion (2014) & It’s A Dundeel (2013) have taken out the Rosehill Guineas & ATC Australian Derby double.
