Good results for Round 2 with Carlton +30.5, North +29.5 and St Kilda +38.5 all delivering winning results but the hapless Fremantle +25.5 and Hawthorn +4.5 not coming up trumps.
The St Kilda win bet $7 gave us a real run for our money as the Saints only stumbled late in the game and the $4 win North for those who took it looked positive until the last kick of the game.
Looks a close season…strong AFL 2017 tipping and betting!
Our view continues to reaffirm that this year will be a good AFL tipping and betting season as the competition looks to have evened up and a repositioning of the goal posts appears I play.
This is our Human Behaviour modeling in play and delivers us a best chance of changing dynamics in the AFL. Underpinning this is the slide by Hawthorn and Sydney, Hawthorn in particular. The perennial top 4 finishing for both sides looks well and truly under threat at present.
Melbourne appears to be the big improver, consistent with our early season commentary. Whilst we are on Melbourne, how on earth does Jordan Lewis get 3 games only with Carltons Cripps with a broken jaw! Had to be 5 weeks at least. The only positive for Cripps is he may pick is mark a little better in the future as to whom he mouths off to!!
Essendon has the dream start as they try to repair a broken club whilst at the other end of the table the Gold Coast and Collingwood sit at the top of the tree for the first in line for the Sacked Coaches Club. Surely both Buckley and Eade sit at the top of the AFL 2017 betting and tipping to be moved on this season, be it during or end. Mind you, the dramatic fall of Ross Lyon at Freo would have him closely assessing his future despite a contract until 2019.
The Showdown is on this Saturday night between Port Adelaide and Adelaide, always a great game in AFL 2017. Geelong v Melbourne looks a beauty and plenty of other “clutch” games up for Round 3 in AFL 2017.
